Sponsored satellite session
€5,000

The sponsored satellite sessions of 60 minutes enable organisations from different regions to present their latest work towards advancing the science, policy, and community response, providing unique opportunities to learn and engage with distinguished researchers and stakeholders working on infectious diseases. The format allows partner organisations to present an overview of a topic, including time for questions, discussion, and exchange of views with Forum delegates. We welcome sessions on a wide range of topics in the EDCTP remit, with relevance to the Forum theme. An application form is available on request and must be submitted to sponsor@edctp.org by 9 June 2023. The Forum Programme Committee will review the proposed contents and speakers of the satellite sessions to ensure that they meet the scientific and ethical principles of the conference.

To minimise overlap of activities, up to five satellite sessions are available. They will take place in the conference centre with standard conference set up (chairs, stage, podium and audio-visual equipment) but are fully organised and coordinated by the organisation hosting the satellite. The allocation of satellite sessions is at the discretion of the Forum Programme Committee, based on the overall conference programme. Satellite sessions are provisionally scheduled to take place at 08:00-09:00 CET on Wednesday to Friday, 8-10 November, and at 17:00-18:00 CET on Wednesday, 8 November. These dates and times may be subject to change.

This sponsorship item includes:

• In-person sponsored session of 60 minutes duration for up to 120 delegates, (the Forum Programme Committee may also select individual sessions for inclusion in the hybrid programme)
• Acknowledgement and logo included on the Forum website, virtual platform, the Forum app and displayed at the Forum venue.

Scholarships for African researchers
€4,000

Support an early or mid-career investigator with a scholarship to attend the Forum to present his/her research findings and to network with other delegates. Selected recipients will be the primary authors of highly-ranked abstracts who have been accepted to present oral or e-poster presentations. Each researcher will receive a return airfare, accommodation, full conference registration, per diems for the duration of the Forum and assistance with visa applications and travel insurance.

This sponsorship item includes:

• Acknowledgement and logo included on the Forum website, virtual platform, the Forum app and displayed at the Forum venue.

 

Exhibitor stand
€2,000 (reduced rate of €1,500 for non-profit organisations)

Exhibitors have maximum exposure to Forum delegates. Attendees congregate in the exhibition area for refreshment breaks and poster viewings, which provide ample networking opportunities. Exhibitors will be allocated a space on a first-come-first-serve basis.

This sponsorship item includes:

• One 6m2 exhibitor stand with back wall panels, three spotlights, one table, two chairs, one triple power socket (220V) and wireless internet
• A virtual exhibition booth where resources can be displayed (e.g., publications or videos) and meetings can be arranged
  
• Acknowledgement and logo included on the Forum website, virtual platform, the Forum app and displayed at the Forum venue
• Free registration for one individual.

 

Forum app banner
€1,000-€2,500

The Forum app helps participants navigate the event, access abstracts (oral and poster) and symposia, contact participants and plan their agendas. The app provides highly visible opportunities for outreach. The content for the banner and the sources it links to must be relevant to the Forum and approved by the organisers. The sponsor is responsible for production and timely delivery of the banner to the organisers.

Forum app logo and/or banner all days: €2,500 (7-10 November)

Recognition and promotion of sponsors

Sponsors of the Eleventh EDCTP Forum will be acknowledged and promoted in the lead up to the Forum, during the Forum and afterwards. Aside from acknowledgement methods specific to individual sponsorship items or packages mentioned above, promotion will be through the following channels:
